My Story
Hello! I’m Sherri Hansell, your trusted cat sitter! I became a professional cat sitter in 2019 with The Comforted Kitty, where I received professional training and completed over 350 visits.
In 2022, I started my own cat-sitting business in Alameda, servicing Alameda, Bay Farm, and Oakland. My passion for animals, especially cats, motivates me to provide the best care possible.
I’m committed to being reliable and trustworthy, ensuring you have peace of mind when leaving your beloved pets with me. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or has special needs, I’m here to give them the attention they deserve.

Barney and Fred my Childhood Cat Heroes
Growing up in the 1960s with my childhood cats, Barney and Fred, was like having a couple of cuddly cavemen companions right out of The Flintstones. With his laid-back vibe, Barney was always up for a lazy afternoon nap in the sun, bowling, playing pool, poker, and golf. While Fred, ever the scheming get-rich-type of cat, was developing new and more expensive toys and food. Their playful antics, like chasing each other around the house, always brought joy and laughter. They had this adorable habit of curling up together, a testament to their inseparable bond, just like the iconic duo they were named after. Those furry pals added a touch of Stone Age charm to my early years, leaving behind a trail of fond memories and paw prints on my heart.
